
In the suburbs, for the first time, a fine for weeds was imposed on a land plot. The company "Junior" will pay the state 400 thousand rubles.
The press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office in Moscow, the Moscow and Tula regions said that the company was punished "for the fact of overgrowing with weeds of weeds and wood-brown vegetation of an area of 7 hectares." This, in particular, is about a plant like Sosnovsky hogweed.
Punishment for the horses overgrown with hogweed entered into force on November 2018. Fines for individuals amount to 5 thousand rubles, for officials - up to 50 thousand, and for legal - up to a million. So far, this type of administrative responsibility is applied only to the Moscow Region.
Sosnovsky’s hogweed was cultivated in the middle of the last century in the USSR as a fodder culture, but later it turned out that the plant was capable of uncontrollably spread and capture natural ecosystems, almost completely destroying them. Also, hogweed juice is dangerous for humans - it can cause strong and long -healing burns, inflammation of the skin, edema of the upper respiratory tract, and even disorders of the structure of chromosomes.
In 2018, the Government of the Moscow Region launched the first weed program in Russia. During the year, it was planned to spend more than 300 million rubles from the budget on it.
