In St. Petersburg, applicants from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation were denied the right to hold a procession along the embankment near the cruiser "Aurora" with a rally near the ship itself. This is reported by Novaya Gazeta.
In Smolny, the applicants from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation were told that November 7 is a working day with all the "accompanying factors." These include foot traffic and traffic jams.
The applicants were offered to hold the rally in the assembly hall of Smolny or in the park (“Novaya” does not specify in which one, - note OVD-Info).
According to the publication, the chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Zyuganov, called the acting governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov in order to coordinate the action. But Beglov refused to agree on the event. Because of this, representatives of the Communist Party decided to hold a rally near the cruiser Aurora on November 7, which was given the form of a meeting of citizens with deputies.
