In Moscow, the Investigative Committee brought charges against a schoolboy in the case of making a homemade explosive device, TASS reports , citing a source close to the investigation.
“Today, in the presence of a lawyer, legal representative and the boy’s teacher, investigators charged the suspect with the same elements of crime for which the criminal case was opened,” the agency’s interlocutor said, adding that the student did not agree with the charges brought against him.
Sources of Interfax and TASS reported that cases were opened against the student under Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition, storage, explosives or explosive devices) and under Article 223.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal manufacture of explosives, explosive devices). On November 6, the Presnensky District Court sent him to a pre-trial detention center.
