Ingush human rights activist was fined due to a rally against the exchange of territories with Chechnya

A court in Magas fined Magomed Mutsolgov, head of the Ingush human rights organization Mashr, ten thousand rubles for a rally against the transfer of part of the lands of Ingushetia to Chechnya. This is reported by MBH-media with reference to Mutsolgov himself.

The court found Mutsolgov guilty under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the rules for holding an event) in connection with one of the rallies that took place in October 2018.

The publication reports that, according to Mutsolgov, on November 7, the court also fined Malsag Uzhakhov, chairman of Ingush teips, for ten thousand rubles. The human rights activist said that in total he knew about 20 participants in rallies against the exchange of lands between Chechnya and Ingushetia, at which protocols were drawn up.
