According to the publication, a group of 200 special forces, military personnel of the Bundeswehr and members of the Association of Elite Soldiers Uniter prepared "X -Men" confident in the inevitable collapse of the state. On this date, they intended to collect in one place objectionable politicians and kill them.

The full list of victims is not yet known, however, according to the Daily Mail , the conspirators planned to kill the leader of the Green Party Claudia Roth, the head of the German Foreign Ministry Haiko Maas and the ex-president of Joachim Gauk.

The conspirators stocked up with weapons, ammunition and fuel, and discussed plans of action at secret meetings. At the same time, the investigation nearly came to an impasse, since, as Focus writes, he was interfered with a certain high -ranking employee of Germany counterintelligence - he warned the participants of the group about the progress of the investigation, the upcoming operational actions, and so on. However, now he has already been detained and charged him, the case will be considered in the Cologne District Court.

The investigation of another criminal case helped to open the conspiracy - his main defendant of the Bundeswehr soldier Franco A. planned the attacks against the German authorities, he provided false information in the migration service that he was supposedly Syrian refugee to subsequently pour guilt for the attacks on migrants.

As for the organization of Uniter, its representatives categorically rejected the data on involvement in the conspiracy.
