In Ingushetia, the police detained several activists who had gathered at the Memorial of Memory and Glory in Nazran in order to go on a subbotnik to the territory transferred to Chechnya. This was reported to Fontanka by the head of the local branch of Yabloko Ruslan Mutsolgov.
Journalist Isabella Yevloeva posted a video showing police detaining activists and beating them with batons. Evloeva's Facebook page mentions at least four detainees.
According to the "Caucasian Knot", the security forces cordoned off the memorial, chosen as a gathering place, and "control" the roads to the place of the subbotnik.
