In Kazan, the court fined a participant in the September 9 rally

On November 17, the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan fined Maria Stamatina, a participant in a rally against pension reform, 10,000 rubles, according to the telegram channel of the Apology of Protest project.

The girl was found guilty of violating the rules of the event by the participant (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), initially she was accused of organizing the event without filing a notification (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

The police officers came for Maria to the university. From there, she was taken to the police station, where she was left overnight.

• On September 9, protests against the pension reform organized by Navalny's headquarters took place in many Russian cities. Protests failed to be coordinated with the authorities in 59 cities, and only 12 succeeded.

According to OVD-Info, more than 1,195 people were detained that day, most of all in St. Petersburg - about 623 protesters.
