The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for illegal deprivation of liberty of patients (points “a”, “g” of Part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code) in a rehabilitation center in Saratov, according to the department’s website.

According to investigators, in November, unidentified persons illegally detained several people in one of the houses in the Volzhsky district of Saratov. The victims were not only unable to leave the premises, but also unable to communicate with strangers.

The website of the regional prosecutor's office clarifies that this is a rehabilitation center for drug users. His work has been stopped. Some patients spoke of violence being used against them.
