In Anapa, a man hospitalized from a temporary detention center died

The Investigative Committee and the prosecutor's office in Anapa are conducting an investigation into the death of a man hospitalized from the temporary detention center of the city department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anapa Chernomorye reports , citing the departments' press services.

As noted, on November 15, the Anapa City Court considered the administrative case against the man, after which he was sent to a temporary detention facility. In the cell, the publication writes, citing sources, he became ill; ambulance doctors took him to the intensive care unit of the Anapa City Hospital, where he died.

“Our interlocutors reported that the deceased had injuries to his body. However, none of them accuse the police of assault, suggesting that they could have been received by the detainee during the commission of an offense,” notes Anapa Black Sea.
