Forbes magazine has published its annual ranking of the highest paid singers. It was led by Katy Perry, who earned $83 million in a year.
Taylor Swift came in second with 80 million and Beyoncé came in third with 65 million. Both of these singers released a new album each during the reporting period. Katy Perry, who did not release records, earned more as she held a large-scale tour, Forbes notes.
The top ten list also includes Pink, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Helena Fisher, Celine Dion and Britney Spears.
