Rapper Husky was detained in Krasnodar

The concert hall Arena Hall in Krasnodar canceled the performance of rapper Husky, scheduled for November 21. The reason was the pressure of the prosecutor's office, the rapper's manager Andrey Orekhov told RBC.

“The prosecutor’s office intimidated the site with closures, inspections, and so on,” Orekhov said. He added that Husky's performance was moved to another club in Krasnodar. According to RBC, this is the Bounce club.

The human rights organization of Open Russia, citing an unnamed Husky manager , reported that Bounce employees received a warning from the prosecutor's office about the inadmissibility of violating the law on protecting children from harmful information. The document says that Husky's lyrics contain calls for suicide, extremism and drug propaganda. A police squad arrived at Bounce, and the club building was de-energized.

Husky's manager told the human rights organization "Open Russia" that the performance has not yet been canceled. But Bounce told RBC that the event would not take place.

• The day before, Husky's managers announced the arrival of the police at a concert in Rostov-on-Don. After that, the site director decided to cancel the performance. When the musicians refused to leave, the sound and lights were turned off in the hall, and the guards stopped letting the audience in. Husky read the lyrics of his songs without a microphone and music.
• The department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Rostov region stated that the police did not take any restrictive measures at the Husky concert.
