US President Donald Trump thanked Saudi Arabia for the fall in oil prices.
The politician wrote about this on his Twitter.
“Oil prices are falling. Great! It's like a big tax cut for America and the world. Enjoy! $54, and it was just $82. Thank you Saudi Arabia, but let's go even lower," Trump tweeted.
Earlier, the US President said that Riyadh showed responsiveness in response to a request to keep oil prices at a "reasonable" level.
The price of oil has been falling since the beginning of October. On November 20, futures for Brent oil fell by $4.26 (-6.4%), futures for WTI oil fell by $3.77 (-6.6%). At the close of trading, Brent and WTI traded at $62.53 and $53.43, respectively.
