In Ufa, the court fined the chairman of the national organization “Bashkort” 150 thousand rubles

The Kirovsky District Court of Ufa fined Fail Alsynov, chairman of the Bashkort national organization, 150,000 rubles for "re-organizing an unsanctioned rally." It is reported by "Idel. Realities".

The decision under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses was made by Judge Tatyana Mukhina. According to the publication, the process lasted eleven and a half hours with minimal interruptions. According to the defense, it was accompanied by multiple procedural violations.

The judge, without explanation, did not allow the defenders of the activist Vitaly Burkin and Artur Gallyamov to the trial. Lawyer Andrei Babin was not allowed to familiarize himself with the case. Gallyamov was removed from the courtroom when he expressed outrage at the violation of his rights. Burkin after some time managed to join the case, but without familiarizing himself with the materials.

Despite the fact that many people came to support Alsynov, the judge did not satisfy the requests of the defense to provide a large hall. The defense's requests to adjourn the proceedings, terminate the proceedings, and replace the interpreter were also rejected.

The defenders of the accused drew attention to the fact that the police drew up a report on Alsynov not in the Baimaksky district, where the gathering took place, but in Ufa, and only a month and a half after the event.

Alsynov's defenders intend to send a statement to the Qualification Board of Judges of the Republic regarding the actions of Judge Mukhina during the trial.

Alsynov himself said that he would appeal the decision "up to the European Court, like Navalny."

• On September 29, in the village of Temyasovo, Baimaksky district, a fight broke out between a group of local residents and workers who had come from the Chechen Republic to work in a quarry. The next day, the police detained more than ten local residents involved in the fight. Indignant residents of Temyasovo and the surrounding villages, as well as Ufa and neighboring regions, gathered near the department of internal affairs, where the detainees were taken. Those who gathered demanded the release of all detainees, and the police complied with the demand.
• On November 15, the police detained Fail Alsynov because of a people's gathering. Later, Judge Airat Shakirov of the Kirovsky District Court of Ufa returned the case against Alsynov to police department No. 9 due to procedural violations.
• On November 19, the police again detained Alsynov. From the police department, the man was taken to court, but the hearing was postponed, as he asked for a qualified translator from the Bashkir language.
