Meeting and meeting

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting on the digitalization of the transport industry on Friday in his residence near Moscow. The topic, of course, is important, interesting and, as the prime minister loves, innovative, but more importantly, perhaps where Medvedev was not.

Starting the meeting, Medvedev noted that now the main goal is the formation of a single digital transport space in Russia. The prime minister, according to Kommersant, emphasized that passenger and freight transportation should be made safer, convenient, affordable for people and business, reduce costs, expand export and transit capabilities. To achieve these goals, the departmental project “Digital Transport and Logistics” is provided, which is developed as part of the state program for the development of transport.

Paper invoices, declarations should definitely go into the past; Payment of duties, the execution of customs documents should also be electronic - and, to a large extent, they have already become such in many places, Medvedev said.

Indeed, the topic of digitalization of transport is quite beneficial for Dmitry Medvedev: the government has already the introduction of digital technologies when transporting goods by vehicle (Plato system), as well as the customs digitalization program implemented now. It remains to “transfer to the number” passenger transportation, introducing, among other things, a single and through ticket for all types of transport.

And it seems that the meeting went well, and it was unlikely that anything could spoil the mood of Dmitry Medvedev, if not one but. At the same time, Yalta was an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the State Council, which discussed a much more important issue for Russian political life - the implementation of national projects that were written on the basis of the May decree of Vladimir Putin.

The fact is that it was the government to implement the national projects-and this was noticeable in the composition of the audience in Yalta, there were deputy prime ministers, including the First Deputy Medvedev Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, and the heads of the largest companies and, of course, the governors of key regions.

Earlier it became known that the Presidium of the State Council prepared a report on the execution of national projects and it revealed a number of shortcomings, including serious ones: not only underfunding (it was noted primarily in the housing national project), but also the discrepancy between the regulatory framework for the tasks.

Interesting, at the same time, as the meeting was organized. Instead of the usual picture with the hall and the presidium in the conference hall of the Mriya hotel complex (Putin especially thanked Herman Gref for how Sberbank repaired him), seven round tables were installed, at which the meeting participants were seated in accordance with the topics that interest them. The format of the meeting suggested that all its participants would come “without ties” - that is, the conversation is supposed not too formal.

So, for example, Vladimir Putin was at the table where the discussion of “systemic issues” was held. It is interesting that of the governors there was only Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
