An assistant to a Chechen prosecutor received a 1.5-year suspended sentence in the case of shooting from a wedding procession in Moscow.

The Nagatinsky District Court of Moscow sentenced the former senior assistant prosecutor of the Shalinsky district of Chechnya, Magomed Guchigov, to 1.5 years of suspended imprisonment, told the Moscow agency. court spokeswoman Victoria Belova

Guchigov was found guilty under Article 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed with the use of a weapon). The case was initiated after on September 11, 2016, drivers of Porsche Panamera and Bentley Continental cars from a wedding convoy fired several shots into the air on Kashirskoye Highway. Three traumatic pistols, 15 rounds of ammunition and four magazines were taken from them.

Guchigov, as the investigation established, was driving a Bentley Continental. The second person involved in the case was Muscovite Vitaly Yesenkin. The assistant prosecutor insisted that he had not committed any hooligan acts. After the initiation of the case, Guchigov was fired from the prosecutor's office for violating the oath.
