In Krasnodar, the court canceled the 12 days of administrative arrest of rapper Husky

The Pervomaisky District Court of Krasnodar overturned the decision to arrest rapper Husky for 12 days for petty hooliganism, lawyer Alexey Avanesyan wrote on Facebook with reference to the resolution.

“The court has just granted the application of the defenders of the rapper Husky (Dmitry Kuznetsov) and stopped the execution of the sentence in the form of administrative arrest for 12 days. The resolution is subject to immediate execution. We’re going to the special detention center to pick up Dmitry,” the lawyer said.

On November 21 in Krasnodar, after the venue canceled Husky’s concert following a warning from the prosecutor’s office, the rapper decided to stage a performance on the street. The musician was detained when he read out his song to fans on the roof of a car.

The police drew up reports on the rapper about organizing mass presence of citizens in public places (Part 1 of Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), petty hooliganism involving disobedience to the legal demand of a representative of the authorities (Part 2 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), and refusal to undergo a medical examination (Part 1 article 6.9 of the Administrative Code).

The next day, the Pervomaisky District Court arrested Husky for 12 days under a hooliganism protocol. For refusing to undergo a medical examination, he was sentenced to three more days of arrest.

Due to the arrest, the rapper had to cancel planned concerts. Famous rap artists Basta, Oxxxymiron and Noize MC decided to hold a concert in support of Husky. All proceeds from it will be given to the musician.
