The incident in the Sea of ​​Azov is a "dangerous provocation," spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

“The issue will be considered in the Security Council at the initiative of Russia. We are talking about a very dangerous provocation, of course, it requires special attention, special investigation, ”Peskov said.

The spokesman added that the Russian Foreign Ministry is preparing a statement regarding the incident in the Sea of ​​Azov.

On November 25, Russian border guards detained three Ukrainian ships : the Berdyansk and Nikopol boats, as well as the Yany Kapu raid tugboat, en route from Odessa to Mariupol. The incident was accompanied by gunfire. The crew of the ships was captured by Russian special forces. Moscow and Kyiv accused each other of provocation.
