It is reported by "Mediazona" with reference to the art director of the Cape Town concert bar David Shelter.

Shelter said that the official personally came to the bar, but none of the organizers was there. The owners of the site learned about Kozenkov's visit from employees of neighboring establishments. The organizers contacted the head of the district, who asked not to hold the concert.

“We were connected with him, he explained that he was waiting for us for an hour, the general director arrived. They discussed that the texts of the IC3PEAK group are suicidal <…> The conversation was unpleasant, that we almost created a den there in our institution and break the law as soon as we can, ”Shelter quotes the publication.

According to the organizer, the site does not intend to cancel the event, since they did not receive any documents and no examinations were carried out on the illegality of the event.

“We are not canceling (concert - MZ), because this is a very strange situation, I would like to see some documents confirming the reason for the cancellation, because people worked, invested resources in advertising. There are a lot of people involved, and just picking up and canceling because someone doesn’t like it is a very strange story,” said the art director.

The concert is scheduled for November 27th. Due to the fact that all tickets were sold out, the organizers moved the event to another venue, the name of which was not disclosed, in order to avoid disrupting the concert.

Corrected: earlier it was reported that the mayor of Perm Dmitry Samoilov recommended canceling the IC3PEAK concert. In fact, according to Mediazona, Alexander Kozenkov, the head of the administration of the Leninsky district of Perm, asked not to hold the event.
