Martial law in independent Ukraine is introduced for the first time and will be valid for 30 days. Kyiv continues to live in peacetime. At the intersections, the shifts stood up, and fire engines were noticed near the buildings of parliament and the presidential administration.

However, in the morning, the fireys were already burned under the Rada so that the area was covered with blue smoke. Several hundred radicals, among whom were both ATO veterans and teenagers in balaclavas, demanded that the deputies tell the military position “yes” and chanted the usual “enemies of Ukraine - death, death, death!”. They insisted on the immediate break in diplomatic relations with the aggressor state with all the ensuing consequences. First of all, by the nationalization of Russian banks and the arrests of local "leaders of the Kremlin opinions that help sow panic within the country."

After the rally, nationalists, without violating public order, scattered on business. And the reinforced security near the office of Viktor Medvedchuk on Shota Rustaveli continued to take a watch vigilantly: a politician better known as Kum Putin, not without reason, took a threat to his account ...

The fifth year Ukraine is in a state that is considered to be hybrid. The annexation of Crimea, Ilovaysky and Debaltsevsky “boilers”, thousands of killed, hundreds of thousands of wounded, prisoners, hostages, ATO, which grew into the OOS - on the one hand, inextricable large agreement on friendship, cooperation and partnership with Russia - on the other. All this time, power brought the civil society to civil society why it is impossible to call the war the war and continue to act according to what was said so far. There were rumors that the IMF in the case of active actions to repel the attack and violation of the Minsk agreements would refuse Kyiv on money, and without Western loans the national economy would collapse.

Everything changed on November 25, when in the Kerch Strait the Russian border forces rammed, fired and captured by three Ukrainian military vessels.

A taran video appeared on the Web, as well as a recording of radio contexts, when a Ukrainian radio operator with a torn voice asks on the air: “We need help, lying wounded!”, And from the Russian side there is a cold -blooded one: “Hands up!” It is noteworthy that the commands were not received to open a response from the Ukrainian side.

Inside the country, this predictably caused a flurry of indignation, and not only the actions of Russians:

“So they have already passed Crimea without a fight, and now they are preparing Azovnash?! Not tired of the role of the victim? "

Late in the evening a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council gathered, after which President Poroshenko appealed to the Rada with a proposal for the immediate introduction of martial law in Ukraine for a period of 60 days. It was also announced that after the deputies acceptance of the positive - and what else! - Decisions, that is, voting in support of the decree, will immediately begin work with the reserve of military personnel of the first stage. That is, partial mobilization.

Is it necessary to remind that in martial law there is a serious restriction of constitutional rights and freedoms, including it is impossible to hold elections? The start of the presidential election campaign was planned right on the New Year. New harsh realities pushed him indefinitely. The political class, who had recently accused Poroshenko-emerging of cowardice, gasped: so how he decided to win, but not to Russia, but competitors-to extend his own powers!

The unrest in the session hall of the Rada in places grew into hand -to -hand contractions. There were several potential candidates for the role of the future head of state.

- We demand a break! We demand the president here for consultations and explanations! - shouted Oleg Lyashko, the head of the faction of the radical party.

Sing Partyers Yulia Tymoshenko blocked the stands, pushing that they stood to death for the protection of freedom of speech, private life and correspondence of citizens. Yanukovych’s opposition block predicted the offensive of tyranny.

But Poroshenko chose to make a video message to the people from the office in the administration. So that the deputies at the same time as the rest of the citizens find out: the decree has already been adjusted. The president proposes to introduce martial law not to 60, but for 30 days. And be sure to secure the inviolability of the election date with a parliamentary resolution - March 31, 2019. “So that none of those who care about their party or their political interest more than about Ukrainian interest, there are no grounds for dirty speculation and insinuations!” - I noticed not without irritation Poroshenko. The course turned out to be strong: the “home blanks” of many opponents about the end of democracy in Ukraine after such proposals looked strange.

The president’s speech in the session hall tried to tear off insulting cries like “Show the decree!” and abuse. Although listening should be carefully. One of the main changes in the document concerned that martial law does not apply to the whole country, but only to its part. And most importantly, the president emphasized, the actions related to the restriction of constitutional rights and freedoms will be taken in the same case-if the Russian Federation begins a terrestrial military operation against Ukraine. Poroshenko, referring to intelligence data, repeated that the borders of the state concentrated significant enemy forces. And he recalled that the UN Security Council refused to accept the agenda of Russia, and at the NATO headquarters in Brussels they decided to create a special commission “Ukraine-NATO”.

Thus, all the requirements and ultimatums of former comrades in the Maidan turned out to be taken into account - there was nothing to cover. The opposition block and the groups friendly to him remained in the minority. 276 deputies voted for the new edition of the decree on martial law, for the decree appointing the date of the presidential election on March 31, 2019 - 298 parliamentarians.

It is not surprising that in Ukraine, especially at the household level, interest in issues related to the implementation of the presidential decree on martial law and the law “On the legal regime of martial law” adopted in 2015 has greatly increased.

Obviously: the military administrations should now lead the transferred 10 regions. Therefore, it is worth expecting new appointments or strengthening the leadership of the military.

Mass summons from the military registration and enlistment offices are not expected, but the first -stage reservists can be called for retraining, which Petro Poroshenko said.

In the Ukrainian Facebook segment, reports appeared from famous volunteers that the almost faded activity of those who help the army again went in growth. There is no talk of either mandatory labor service, nor about the ban on mass shares, nor about the restrictions on the freedom of movement of citizens, including traveling abroad, etc., although these measures are listed in the law. The dollar also practically did not respond to the innovation. However, the leadership of the National Bank promised to prevent panic or jumps in the country's foreign exchange market.

But several organizations of nationalists, inspired by the military situation, decided to fight the Russian business in Kyiv. They blocked the Ocean Plaza shopping and entertainment center, neither staff nor buyers missed, put the building with tires and promise to set fire to-if the enemy does not remove the seized territory. According to some reports, Ocean Plaza still belongs to the Russian oligarch Arkady Rottenberg, who sponsored the construction of the Kerch bridge.
