Traditionally, the concept of cyberbulling includes: insults, harassment, denigration, threats, persecution and disclosure of personal information. That's just for cyberbulling, unlike simple persecution, it is almost impossible to hold accountable.
Every day, thousands of people are subjected to persecution on the Internet, but the legislation does not protect them. Of course, there are articles 128.1 and 137 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“slander” and “violation of the inviolability of private life”), but how can a dozen, and sometimes a hundred anonyms hiding their face behind fake pages? In addition, far from everyone is aware of the scale of the Internet collection.
Meanwhile, the consequences for the victim can be catastrophic: from mental disorders to suicide.
The reasons are the same as in the case of any persecution: the desire to assert himself at the expense of the other, to receive satisfaction from the manifest cruelty, in the end, “have fun”. Very often those who poison themselves, to one degree or another, were exposed to persecution, and consider cyberbulling as a way to throw out aggression.
I myself had to face cyberbulling. I somehow came to the view of visitors to one anonymous forum. They vividly began to seek out my personal data, write to my friends in VKontakte, to create discussions in which such fantastic stories with my participation posted that my hair got on end.
Dozens of threat messages came to the “VK” daily up to the murder, and comments under posts on my blog turned into a continuous insult.
And I was still lucky: the lack of photographs and personal data on social networks saved, which is why I could not represent much interest for trolls. At the height of these events, a twelve -year -old girl wrote to me, who had to endure much more. Crying, she told me that one of those who poisoned me, a year before, under the guise of a schoolgirl, rubbed into confidence in her, and when it turned out that a “little girl” was actually an adult uncle, he began to create many pages with photographs stolen from my interlocutor.
How is this possible, why were the villains not blocked? I answer: both I and my friends threw complaints daily, but the maximum of which I managed to achieve - a weekly ban for one of the aggressors.
How then to deal with bullying on the Internet?
I see only one way: maintain a victim.
Cyberbulling is often not perceived seriously, so a child undergoing persecution does not simply believe that parents can help him. Moreover, he is afraid of punishment - because he posted the photos because he answered insults, because he could not ignore the situation. And to a natural sense of injustice, a feeling of absolute helplessness is also added.
Some parents see a way out of the situation to the ban on the use of social networks. But the result of such restrictions may be ridicule from other children. It will be much more correct to just talk to the child, explain to him that you should not communicate with strangers on the Internet and pay attention to insults, no matter how trite it sounds. If the persecution has reached a large scale, you should contact the police. What if they help?
All these Internet trolls are not mythical creatures from a parallel dimension, but people.
And I want to believe that, explaining to children the basics of decency, you can prevent their transformation from ordinary schoolchildren into network trolls.
This refers, by the way, not only to children. If each person will remember the golden rule of morality (“Treat people as you want to treat you”) and, before scribbling insulting messages on social networks, will think about the consequences, perhaps we will live a little more pleasant to us all.

The authors of the “parallels” have passed many sites with advice to those who are poisoned on the Internet, and collected the most, in our opinion, sensible proposals:Treat insults calmly - do not snap, not to enter into a polemic, not to answer. Those who poison, expect that you will now show them the fireworks of emotions - do not entertain them. It is better to ban and write in support of the network. This does not always help, but it is better than nothing.
The account can be made closed, and commenting can be available only for friends.
It is better to inform others than to be silent about cyberbulling. There is nothing shameful in the fact that you are poisoned. And the support of friends and relatives will not be superfluous.
Do not upload personal data to the network and do not keep up with itself there. When hacking an account, this adds problems.
To leave the network when trolls come there. Do not talk to them. Store screenshots.
Real life takes place in real life, not on the Internet. It is important to spend more time in live communication, so as not to close in your virtual problems.
Harming is not revenge, but an entertainment search
Fourth grade. I am a student of an ordinary provincial school, I come to the lesson. Strengthened silence, all children are sitting in their places. The lesson does not begin with the record "Cool work", but from the words of the teacher "Children, an emergency occurred yesterday."
It turned out that last night one of my classmates in the entrance of his house was beaten by two of my classmates. A pair of classmates as true ladies in violence did not participate - they simply took everything to the phone from the outside.
Found the guilty. The victim was apologized. The whole class revived. After all, a boy was not a victim that was not distinguished: he studied poorly, but no worse than anyone else. A cheerful, non-conflict and living guy did not “punish” for something-he accidentally fell under his arm to those who were bored. All classmates asked two questions: "Why?" And "For what?" The guilty answered "I do not know." None of them realized that, in fact, he committed a crime. For them it was a joke that delivered a lot of emotions.
And these were not guys at all with a “low -term stir of social responsibility”. These were the so -called "coolest class" - with the average level of everything except show -off. It is they who arrange grass, not thinking about choosing a victim. For them, this is only a way to cheer up.
