A debt of $ 12 billion in front of VTB, which the bank in its quarterly report was mistakenlyrecorded in the CAR account, actually belongs to Cyprus, follows from the corrected reports published by the bank, writes RBC.
Details. The total obligations of Cyprus residents to VTB amounted to 1.036 trillion rubles. The previous reporting version stated that Cyprus was issued loans worth 234 billion rubles, and the TsAI was 802 billion rubles. The Central Bank on its website also corrected the reporting error.
Context . Reuters previouslydrew attention to the fact that the quarterly report of VTB Bank contains information about the CRT loan of $ 12 billion (six times more than the annual GDP of the country). The bank immediately explained that there was a technical error.
