A court in Moscow fined the former head of the Russian Pastafarian Church, blogger Mikhail Samin, 20,000 rubles because of a September 9 rally against pension reform. Samin wrote about this on Facebook.
Samin was found guilty of organizing a public event without filing a notice (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The decree says that the post on VKontakte dedicated to the event has seven retweets.
“Well, in addition to the absurdity of the very essence of the matter, the judge managed to confuse my date of birth, my address, and in several places my gender. I'm not a sexist or an ageist, so I'm not offended, but it just shows very well the state of our "justice" system, ”the activist writes.
