Signatures that did not exist, copies of the unknown and the disappeared materials of the “Seventh Studio”

The Meshchansky court of Moscow continues to consider on the merits the case of the Seventh Studio. Outside the court, Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky allowed himself to speak out in an interview with the accused, including Kirill Serebrennikov, “respected and pretty people”, whom the court, as he hopes, will pass “extremely soft sentence”.

In court, meanwhile, on November 30, the following took place: the prosecutor Lavrov announced all day documents, no one could establish the correlation of which no one in the hall could not establish in the hall. So, the 10th volume contained the calculated sheets in the name of a certain Kurbanov for February and March 2013, the statements for April and May were at all without mentioning surnames. The former general director of Gogol-Center and the producer of the Seventh Studio Alexei Malobrodsky asked the judge Irina Lakorov to pay attention that the listed documents were without signatures. The judge did not react to this.

The 11th volume began with a certain cover letter from the Ministry of Culture.

The prosecutor Lavrov read the title and turned the page. Malobrodsky asked to read the letter entirely. The state prosecutor refused.

Next were documents about the participation of the Seventh Studio in the competition for the “Platform”: state contracts, an event plan. This time, Sofya Apfelbaum tried to attract the attention of the judge: these were innocent specimens, that is, copies of the originals handed over to the office of the Ministry of Culture. For some reason, the originals were not attached to the case.

“That is, in the case we do not have originals, but copies are not known what,” said the defendant, lawyer Ksenia Karpinskaya. - This is not evidence.

“I’ll ask you not to evaluate the evidence,” the judge of Ukaconov snapped, and the prosecutor continued to read out the documents: the interim act of the provision of services with the signatures of the former general director of the “Seventh Studio” and Assistant Serebrennikova Anna Shalashova, the creative report of the “platform” for 2011 and 2012.

“Your honor, in accordance with the procedural legislation, the announcement of documents can occur completely or partially, but if the charges do not read out what exactly in these documents proves the guilt of our clients, then for us these are just the name,” lawyer Dmitry Kharitonov was indignant. - Listing names is not yet evidence.

The remark remained unanswered.

- He read out the list of shows held by the Seventh Studio.

This was followed by a financial report, which mentioned the amount of 70 million rubles, signed by Serebrennikov. Serebrennikov, however, did not find out his signature in the document, as in subsequent financial reporting papers.

As the lawyer Kharitonov noted, in an accompanying letter to the materials of the Ministry of Culture, it indicated that the FSB was presented with 871 criminal cases - all the documentation of the Ministry of Culture associated with the Seventh Studio. Of these, for some reason, only 247 sheets remained in the case. At the same time, there are documents in the case that are not clear how they ended up in the materials.

“It is obvious that they could not be in the Ministry of Culture, so the origin of these documents is unknown,” Kharitonov said.

Almost half of the 15th volume is a certificate on the personal account of the Seventh Studio. In reality, the document has 222 sheets, but in the case it has less than a hundred pages. To the question of a lawyer, where the rest of the document, neither the prosecutor nor the judge answered.

Next, the prosecutor read documents with reports on the Platforms and Tickets for the sale of tickets.

- Do I need to read the names of events? - Lavrov asked tiredly.

“Well, the accusation says that there were no these events, so read it,” Kharitonov grinned. The prosecutor dutifully continued to read.

Among the events, the performance “Summer Night” was also listed, which, according to the investigation, never existed ( read a review of the play in Novaya Gazeta for 2012 ).

“Do you have the twenty -first volume?” - said the lawyer Kharitonov and noticed that in his copy of the case this volume begins with other materials.

“The investigation raised it,” Apfelbaum Irina Porovinova grinned.

... The 25th volume began with a protocol of inspection of an optical disk containing a recording of a conversation. The prosecutor refused to announce the materials of the wiretap under the pretext that "all those present are familiarized."

“Besides the trial,” said the Porutinova.
