In Severodvinsk, a participant in a rally against landfills was fined 150 thousand

The Severodvinsk city court fined the Other Russia activist Valery Sheptukhin 150 thousand rubles because of a double-sided poster at a rally against landfills. OVD-Info was told about this in the movement itself.

On October 20, Sheptukhin came to the rally with a two-sided poster: one side of the sheet was dedicated to landfills, the other to pension reform. The court decided that the second part of the poster was not related to the theme of the action, and found the activist guilty of repeated violation of the rules for holding the event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

A day earlier, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Arkhangelsk fined Sheptukhin 200,000 rubles: the activist chained himself with a bicycle rope to a traffic light near the city administration building, holding a poster against the construction of landfills. The police had to call the Ministry of Emergency Situations to cut off the cable.
