The Penza defendant in the case of the terrorist community "Network" Dmitry Pchelintsev announced a hunger strike: they put pressure on him in the course of familiarization with the materials of the criminal case. Several Penza accused immediately said that they were placed in punishment, fastened with handcuffs to the battery and threaten violence.

Dmitry Pchelintsev announced a hunger strike on November 29. The OVD-Info reported the Parental Network-the unification of mothers and fathers of the accused.

On that day, Pchelintsev was placed in a punishment cell, demanding to confess the charter - conversations with other prisoners on a walk. In response, the accused announced a hunger strike. On November 30, Dmitry Pchelintsev again came with persuasion and threats.

The Parental Network notes that the pressure intensified against the backdrop of the accused with the criminal case materials.

As lawyer Anatoly Vakhterov told the association, the head of the pre-trial detention center-1 Oleg Iskhanov came to Ilya Shakursky and asked “at what speed” he met the documents. On November 20, immediately after this incident, Shakursky made a remark for saying that he greeted another prisoner on a walk. The accused was drawn up about the violation, on the same day he was prepared for the Karzer, issuing a special robe. It was possible to avoid the insulator thanks to the application for the prosecutor of the Penza region Natalia Canterova.

Earlier for five days in Kartsere, Maxim Ivankin spent. Before that, Iskhanov also came to him and was interested in the speed of familiarization with the case file.

As lawyers handed over to the “parent network”, the defendants in the case got acquainted with the papers not only in the pre -trial detention center, but also in the FSB building. Familiarization with the documents can last up to eight hours a day. All this time, the accused sat, fastened with handcuffs to batteries and stair railing. Vasily Kuksov and Arman Sagynbaeva completely fastened to each other. As the “parent network” notes, the accused not only experienced physical inconvenience, but could not freely study materials, make notes.

Ilya Shakursky and Dmitry Pchelintsev refused to undergo a procedure in such conditions. In response, they began to threaten violence. This was done, according to them, a person who took part in torture - a certain A. Pyatachkov.

Mikhail Kulkov said that the FSB officers shot him on the video, after they chained the handcuffs to the stairs. Law enforcement officers commented on the record: “Look how terrorists from the“ Network ”get acquainted with the case file.”

The accused demanded the presence of lawyers when familiarizing themselves, after which they were stopped delivering to the FSB - all documents are now brought directly to the pre -trial detention center.

“It is obvious that all these measures are the method of psychological and physical violence,” says lawyer Anatoly Vakhters. - There are signs of pressure from the investigative group, headed by senior investigator Valery Tokarev on the defendants. What is the goal? Accelerate the process of familiarization so that the verification does not have time to investigate the statements of the defendants about torture. They want to intimidate the guys. And they fight as they can in these conditions.

In connection with these events, the Parental Network prepared an appeal. OVD-Info publishes it in an abbreviated form:

“We, the parents of the defendants in Penza, are claiming numerous violations used towards our children during the procedures for familiarizing themselves with the case file.

In order to avoid compliance with the deadlines of all the measures necessary for the correct consideration of the case of torture of our sons, the investigation group, led by Valery Tokarev, is in every possible way trying to speed up the process of familiarization with the materials of the “network” case. For this purpose, moral and physical violence on the defendants, expressed in the following facts: is every day:

1. Our sons are hidden to get acquainted with the case in the presence of lawyers. When trying to declare a legal refusal to familiarize yourself with the case file, preventive measures of physical impact are applied to them - fastening with handcuffs to any metal structures and each other. In the course of familiarization with the case, at least one hand of each of them is handcuffed. Such actions prevent you from reading, thoughtfully prepare for the protection of their rights in court and testify to the uncertainty of the investigation in their rightness, the desire to quickly transfer procedural responsibility to the court.
2. In the course of familiarization with the case file, the number of persons allowed to this procedure includes FSB operatives who were present and participated in torture. Their presence is organized in order to provide pressure on our children. These representatives of the FSB threaten them with physical violence in case of refusal to familiarize themselves with the case materials. The purpose of these actions is to speed up the process of familiarization, intimidate and prevent the possible investigation of torture.
3. Our requirements to allow a lawyer before being familiarized, not to prevent the acquaintance by physical fastening of the hands of the defendants with handcuffs for tables, chairs, batteries and stairwells cause our children to place our children in a punishment cell. Where again the FSB officers and investigators come, trying to speed up the process of familiarization with the help of threats.

We are constantly talking about torture. They say that there is no smoke without fire. We do not know the case materials due to a subscription about non-disclosure taken from all lawyers. If our children have violated the law, they will answer society in all severity of the law. In this situation, they are deprived of the opportunity to bear responsibility to society - they are responsible to people who consider the norm to physical violence, beatings, torture with electric current in order to fit other people's lives under canons and plots, beneficial for new appointments and positions.

In the current situation, it is impossible to defend the rights of our sons. We cannot prove that they were tortured. Our legal reserves within the country are exhausted. But we, our sons, the PMC, journalists, human rights activists and political figures should and will try for the sake of one big goal - the humanization of social processes in Russia.

We urge to visit the Penza defendants in our last hopes - the Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova, chairman of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights Mikhail Fedotova, as well as a member of the Council of Yevgeny Moslovsky. You are our last hope for assistance in combating torture in Russia. This joint work is our main responsibility to society.

In the conditions of inevitable terms with a two -digit number of years for our sons, we hope that we will all take an example from us. And it will not be those who tortured them. Then all this does not make sense at all. ”

According to the lawyers of the Penza accused, their clients have already addressed Tatyana Moskalkova and Mikhail Fedotov with requests for a personal meeting and assistance in the investigation of torture. So far, appeals remain unanswered, but in November, members of the Human Rights Council visited the Petersburg defendants in the case of the “network”.
