The European Union for holding “so-called elections” in the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR has included nine people on the sanctions list. The restrictions affected the heads of election commissions of the unrecognized republics, as well as Leonid Pasechnik, elected head of the LPR, and Vladimir Bidevka and Denis Miroshnichenko, heads of the People's Councils of the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR.
All of them "actively supported and implemented actions and policies that undermine the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine," says the EU decision . Now they are banned from entering the territory of the European Union, and their assets in the EU countries will be frozen.
Elections in the DPR and LPR were held on November 11. They were not recognized in the United States, the European Union and Ukraine.
