The case of the judge of Gordeev

Leo Ponomarev will not be able to say goodbye to his friend Lyudmila Alekseeva like a human way: the president blocked the path to the funeral-although it is unlikely of his own free will

Judge of the Tver District Court Dmitry Gordeev, who planted the 77-year-old lion Ponomarev on the day of the Soviet Constitution on December 5 for 25 days (of which 9 of them were scattered by the Moscow City Court) could not know that after a few days he would have to sign under a new sentence. On the evening of December 8, Lyudmila Alekseeva died, for whom Ponomarev was an old and very close friend. Humanly, for three hours, I would have to let him go to say goodbye to the escort for three hours, but the “insurmountable force” like an earthquake intervened: the Kremlin’s press service “did not exclude” that the president would want to say goodbye to Alekseeva, and in the evening the House of Journalists on Nikitsky Boulevard surrounded the FSO.

Like it or not, the judge Gordeev had to face a difficult question: was the second farewell applicant for Lyudmila Mikhailovna as close to a friend as Lev Ponomarev? (About the rest who loved her, and who she would be glad to see, something to remember).

To begin with, Ponomarev simply did not bring to court at the appointed time. Well, how it will be explained by the special receiver and the convoy-this is their problem, let them fall asleep. But the judge, rejecting the defense of his delivery, referred (at least orally) to the fact that Ponomarev himself did not ask for this in writing. This is, in order not to explain for a long time, crap. The principle of personal, oral and direct participation in the trial has not yet been canceled.

It is clear that pushing the president with Ponomarev at the tomb of Lyudmila Mikhailovna face to face - it would be too much for the television cameras of the 1st channel, and then the security decided not to risk it. There was a more elegant option: to transfer the court in the morning of the funeral and let Ponomarev let go so that he would not have time to the domestic, but he managed to at least in the cemetery. But this would be needed, firstly, coordination, and secondly, the responsibility that no one here, of course, decided to take on. Do not disturb the "most"?

The disgrace of this picture will fall in a spot on many civil servants. But under all this petty, trembling fear, the formal signature will be only one: the judges of the Tver district court Dmitry Gordeev. And who promised that it would be easy?
