The Kirovsky District Court of St. Petersburg dismissed the cases of Tatyana Denisenko and Anton Silyukov, participants in the September 9 protest against the pension reform. This was told to OVD-Info by their defender, lawyer of the Apology of Protest Alexander Peredruk.
After the action on September 9, the Kirovsky District Court found Silyukov and Denisenko guilty of interfering with transport infrastructure and pedestrian traffic (part 6.1, article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Each of the protesters was fined 10,000 rubles. The accusations were based on police reports.
The St. Petersburg City Court canceled the decision to bring the activists to administrative responsibility and sent the cases for a new trial to the Kirovsky District Court. The Kirov court dismissed the case. According to Peredruk, why the court made such a decision is still unknown. The lawyer is awaiting a ruling.
