In Novokuznetsk, the police detained Lev Gyammer, coordinator of the Protest Kuzbass movement. He reported this to OVD-Info.
According to Gammer, he was detained at the entrance to be taken to the Central District Court of Novokuznetsk. The activist is charged with organizing and holding a public event without filing a notification (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) because of the Greenpeace action “As cloudy as air”. As part of the action on October 27, single pickets were held in Novokuznetsk. The police considered the pickets to be a single event requiring notification.
UPD 13:35 Gyammer said that employees of the military registration and enlistment office came to him in the courthouse and promised to draw up a protocol against the activist for failure to appear. One of the employees of the military registration and enlistment office spoke to Gammer obscenely and threatened.
The activist added that in the morning people from the military commissariat burst into his apartment, but he did not open the door for them. According to Gammer, before their visit, he called the military registration and enlistment office and asked to reschedule the commission, as he had not yet had time to complete the medical examination.
UPD 15:20 Gammer was released. The court returned the case against him to the police to eliminate violations.
