According to RBC with reference to its own sources, the FAS has already opened the case of the presence of signs of violation of the legislation on the state order at the Friendship of Peoples meat processing plant.

According to media reports, earlier the fact of overstating prices during the supply of products of the Russian Guard was revealed by the FSB officers. As it became known, from 2017 until the beginning of 2018, sausages and sausages to the division of the Russian Guard supplied the Gatchinsky meat factory. 1 kg of sausages cost 215.9 rubles, Sardel - 197.73 rubles.

After the only supplier of products for the Russian Guard became the meat factory "Friendship of Peoples", sausages and sausages to the department began to be delivered at 350 rubles. for 1 kg. At the same time, the company "Friendship of Peoples" purchased products from the same meat processing plant "Gatchinsky".

According to RBC, only for the purchase of sausages and sausages, the price was “unreasonably overstated” in the amount of 3.4 million rubles, and the total amount of contracts concluded by Rosguard with the Friendship of Peoples meat -processing plant is 8 billion rubles.

In August, the Corruption Fund published an investigation into food purchases for the Russian Guard.
