Vostrikov continued to criticize the Russian authorities on his page on VKontakte , on Instagram and on the YouTube channel, where 26 thousand people were signed for it. In April, he created the Voice of the People, which accepts complaints about the authorities, and later ran to the Council of People's Deputies of the Kemerovo region. In September, it became known that Vostrikov did not go to the Council. The man said that it was expected for him, and emphasized that he had never given a bribe for his nomination and did not campaign for United Russia.
It is not known whether Vostrikov will continue attempts to begin a political career. Judging by the instagram of a man, he spends travel in Russia on autumn and winter. At the end of November, he visited Vladivostok, where he submitted documents for a visa to the United States. Later, Vostrikov wrote that the application was approved. The purpose of the trip is unknown.
