Schools were instructed to correct their local regulations with school uniform requirements by February 1, 2019, and then show them to students and their parents. In October, the director of Perm gymnasium No. 4 was fined 30 thousand rubles because the school suspended a student with pink hair. The educational institution itself was fined 50 thousand rubles under Article 5.57 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation or illegal restriction of the right to education).

The prosecutor's office of the Dzerzhinsky district of Perm, which compiled the administrative protocol, noted that the suspension of students from classes is not prescribed either in federal laws or in the charter of the educational institution.
