The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is going to purchase before May 2019 eight thousand sets of electric shockers capable of neutralizing the offender from a distance of several meters.

According to the SPARK-Marketing system, to sell the Autonomous Spark Center of AIR-107U to the Ministry of Electric Shock devices to the Ministry of Electric Shock devices-the MART GROUP LLC, Interfax reports.

According to the contract, the company is obliged to deliver 8099 sets of electric shockers in the amount of 80.8 million rubles (the cost of one set - 9977 rubles) in two stages - 1,500 sets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will receive by the New Year - until December 20, and the remaining 6600 - until April 30, 2019.

"The electric shock device is intended for contact -patrol non -lethal impact on the offenders with a series of short electric discharges of the high voltage current," the product characteristic says. The case is made in the form of a tube of 34 cm long, it provides an “anti -wilter” that prevents the user's shocker.

The spark discharge voltage range on electrodes is 70 - 120 thousand volts (70-120 kV, despite the fact that the most permitted voltage of electric shockers in free sale in the Russian Federation does not exceed 90 kV).

The shocker tip allows you to connect a remote cartridge that affects the confusion at a distance of 4.5 meters by throwing live conductors.

The police already have such shockers in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation: in 2018, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already bought them five times for a total of almost half a billion rubles.

Apparently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducts a revision of special equipment: a week ago, December 5, the department announced the purchase of a batch of handcuffs worth more than 26 million rubles. NGO CJ will have to deliver 28.6 thousand handcuffs of handcuffs under the name "tenderness" in the amount of 26.37 million rubles until December 20 (the cost of one set with a cover is 922 rubles).
