The Moscow authorities did not agree on a rally in honor of the anniversary of the Decembrist uprising, Dmitry Karasev, one of the applicants for the event, told OVD-Info.
The action was to be held under the slogan "For rights and freedoms, against poverty and dictatorship." The event was planned to be held on December 15 at Pushkinskaya Square, but the city administration offered Sokolniki Park as an alternative. The organizers refused to hold the action in Sokolniki and filed a notice to the 1905 Square. The response from the authorities has not yet come.
One of the applicants for the action, Nikita Zaitsev, was given a warning by the police about the inadmissibility of breaking the law. Law enforcement officers also came to Pavel Lebedyansky, another organizer, but did not find him at home.
UPD 21:34 Pavel Lebedyansky told OVD-Info that the police also left him a warning about the inadmissibility of breaking the law.
