FSB detained Pskov vice-governor

In relation to the vice-governor of the Pskov region, Alexander Kuznetsov, investigative actions are being carried out, the Pskov news feed reports.

Governor of the region Mikhail Vedernikov stressed that the administration is cooperating with law enforcement agencies. Officially, the reason for the investigative actions is not called, according to the "Pskov province" this may be due to multi-million dollar embezzlement during privatization.

According to an Interfax source , a search was conducted in Kuznetsov's apartment, and he himself was detained by FSB officers.

Updated . According to investigators , in 2013 the construction company sold the house to Kuznetsov at a reduced cost, in exchange for a government contract for the construction of a medical facility. Kuznetsov was charged with a large-scale bribe.
