Parliamentarians Klishas and Lugovoi offer Russians self -invalid from the global network

Senator Andrei Klishas became the main newsmaker of the country last week. First, he invented the Russian method of combating Fake-Nuus, namely a special bill that punishes the media for the spread of false news. Of course, without any concretization of the last term. Then, almost without a pause, Klishas in the company with deputy Andrei Lugov presented the project of the Sovereign Internet. Formally - a legislative act designed to regulate the actions of Russia in the case of "disconnecting from the global Internet."

In fact, the next step towards building a comprehensive censorship system in the country.

In an explanatory note to the bill, its need is justified by the hostile actions of Americans, who supposedly prepare for the Russians from the network. To fight this, Klishas and Lugovoi believe (suddenly discovered themselves as experts in cybersecurity), it is not enough just to have an emergency transfer of computer networks for national and autonomous control. It is necessary to prepare for this imaginary threat in advance, create infrastructure, and specifically - "minimize the transfer of data abroad that Russian users exchange with each other."

In other words, in order to avoid future isolation from the global network, Klishas and Lugovoi, they are offered to themselves in advance.

In this case, Roskomnadzor will receive new functions, which from now on will not only block sites, but also intervene in traffic routing. Why will the State Internet Management Center be created (it’s even strange how we lived without it all these years).

The very threat of turning Russia from the Internet is an obvious fake of special services. Over the thirty years of the existence of the global network, there was not a single example of such actions by the American authorities. For example: even Iran, who is under hard sanctions, does not experience any difficulties in access to the Internet, except, of course, internal censorship.

The Americans are economically and politically beneficial to the global Internet, and no one will turn off the Russians from it. It would be a meaningless loss of billions of dollars.

But for the Russian authorities, the fake struggle for national security in digital space has a specific censorship. Lugovoi pronounces what is the real meaning of their bill:

“The whole country will be in the palm of your hand, we will understand where the Internet comes from, and also where and where it comes out.”

The flow of the Internet will be controlled at the level of providers, who will be proposed to install special equipment allegedly at the expense of the funds attracted by the state as part of the Digital Economy project. The providers who installed the equipment of Klishas-Little, will be exempted from the obligation to block sites according to the black list of Roskomnadzor, which means that the traffic filtering system will be built into the equipment. The requirements for the network nodes, through which cross -border traffic, will be tightened, their owners will be required under certain conditions to block data flows. How can you not recall the drama around the orbital Internet, with the still unrealized projects of which the FSB has already been going to fight.

At the end of the battle for Telegram, ingloriously lost by Roskomnadzor, we already wrote that the authorities would not calm down on this and, realizing that the site blocking the site does not work, organize a new attack on the Internet. The Demarch of Klishasa-Love looks like the preparation of the legal framework for this attack.

It is only comforted that, like a “spring package”, all these initiatives can ultimately sink in cuts and kickbacks.

Modern censorship at the current level of corruption will not be easy to create. But many "teachings in case of turning off the Internet will be carried out.
