In Tolyatti, police officers detained Yan Andreev and two underage young people. All of them are participants of the "indefinite protest". Together with them, two bystanders were detained. One of the detainees told OVD-Info about this.
According to him, the day before, in an open chat, the activists of the “indefinite protest” discussed the meeting of supporters at the Capital shopping center. The activist claims that the event was planned exactly as a meeting - without banners and slogans.
When the three participants of the "indefinite protest" met at the shopping center, they were approached by police officers. They asked them to show their documents and then detained the young people on the grounds that some kind of check was being carried out. What exactly - the police did not say.
Together with them, two more young people were detained, who are not activists of this movement and were just passing by the shopping center. One of them is a minor.
Then the young people were taken to the 22nd police station of the city of Tolyatti. Campaign materials were confiscated from the activists, which, according to the detainee, they always carry with them.
After a conversation at the police department, Andreev was released without a protocol being drawn up. Two other underage activists of the "indefinite protest" were left in the department to wait for their legal representatives. The detainees spent more than three hours there. They have not been charged with any misdemeanor. At the time of publication of the news, their parents had already arrived.
The police also released one of the bystanders, who was detained along with the activists. Another underage young man sits in the department and waits for his parents.
UPD: 20:20 All detainees were released from the department. The police drew up a protocol on the seizure of the leaflets and took an explanation from the juvenile detainees.
