In Moscow, seven activists were detained near the mayor's office, who handed over the resolution of the rally in Kuntsevo to the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin. They are charged with holding an illegal protest. This was told to OVD-Info by one of the detainees Alexei Sobolev.
He noted that a statement was attached to the resolution of the rally held on December 9. It says that following the results of the rally, the protesters issue Sobyanin a severe reprimand with a warning about incomplete official compliance.
After the documents were handed over to the mayor's office, the activists began to give interviews. At that moment, police officers approached them and detained them on charges of holding an illegal action. Alexei Sobolev, Mark Galperin, Natalia Chernyakhovskaya, Denis Kolosov, Sophia Kalugina, Tatyana Korotaeva and Vitaly Stakanov were taken to the police department in the Tverskoy district.
Sobolev emphasizes that the activists did not plan to hold any action.
UPD 19:27 Natalia Chernyakhovskaya and Mark Galperin were released without any protocol being drawn up. For the rest of the detainees, a protocol was drawn up on the delivery of the police department. The activists were given an explanation and an obligation to appear at the department.
