The first small missile ship of Project 22800 "Mytishchi" has completed state tests and will be transferred to the Navy on December 17, the Ministry of Defense reported.
- The 22800 small missile ship project was developed after sanctions were imposed on Russia. According to sources in the Ministry of Defense, this was done to fill the gap in the delivery of large ships - engines for them became impossible to purchase due to sanctions.
- The price of one 22800 ship is approximately two billion rubles. In total, the Ministry of Defense plans to receive 18 such ships.
