The arrest of Mikhail Tsakunov, accused of violence against a police officer, was extended until April 2019

The Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg extended until April 6, 2019 the arrest of Mikhail Tsakunov, accused of violence against a policeman at the “He is not our king” rally. This is stated in the Telegram channel “Human Rights Postcards”.

During the meeting, the prosecutor announced that the injured police officer Sukharukov was going to file a lawsuit and demand compensation for harm to health.

In August, during interrogation, Sukharukov stated that during his arrest, Tsakunov hit him in the mouth area, which caused the policeman to lose a tooth: “I felt severe pain in the gum area on the left, <...> there was a missing tooth and bleeding, the tooth had never hurt before.”

At the same time, the police officer admitted that the nerve had been removed from the tooth by that time, but said that the tooth “never bothered me.” During the interrogation, Sukharukov also could not explain what kind of blow Tsakunov dealt him.

The police noticed this and began to detain the young people.
