FSB prevented four terrorist attacks against the military

For five years, the military counterintelligence of the FSB of Russia prevented four terrorist attacks aimed at military personnel, said the head of the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the FSB of Russia, Colonel General Nikolai Yuryev.

According to him, TASS quoted by TASS, that over these five years they managed to stop the activities of 25 terrorist and extremist groups and prevent six terrorist crimes. The FSB seized about 2 million ammunition, 2 thousand units of firearms and more than 32 tons of explosives from illegal turnover.

Earlier, the FSB revealed a terrorist cell of six people, which prepared a terrorist attack in Moscow. Six members of the Islamic State terrorist organization banned in Russia were detained.
