The deputy of the Novosibirsk Legislative Assembly from the LDPR Daria Ukraitseva told Taiga.info about her readiness to take part in the elections of the head of the regional center. She is sure that there can be no agreements with the ruling party, and the LDPR should fight for victory.

Taiga.info: How serious is your intentions? And why, in your opinion, a letter appeared with the initiative of your one -party members to nominate you to the post of mayor of Novosibirsk?

- Undoubtedly, having learned about this letter, I was pleasantly surprised. And it was really a surprise. Having cooled my head a little, I realized that, in principle, I was ready to participate in the elections. In the event that the Party’s Higher Council is approved by my candidate as a candidate for mayor, I will gladly take part. Why is such an initiative? Based on the letter, in principle, I agree with the one -party members that the elections in the Novosibirsk Region began to take place just for show. Elections for elections. And the LDPR party is a party with history, not the first day exists, and should fight for victory. And the same party members are really tired of what is happening now. They wanted to see the actual struggle. They wanted to see the changes. And in principle, with the examples of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, we see that if you make certain efforts, the victory of opposition parties is possible.

Taiga.info: The letter really says that the LDPR is increasingly participating for show, and not for victory. We saw the participation of the LDPR in both the mayor’s elections and the governor’s elections - why not for victory? Where did the opinion arose that the LDPR participates in order to participate?

- This letter was prepared for the most part by the party activists, deputies, who included several more processes than just single -partyists. And they see this system, see that work is underway. That often some agreements arise with the ruling party. There is no work aimed at the result. And the only result may be - this is a victory.

Taiga.info: It is no secret that until recently, the deputy of the City Council Evgeny Lebedev was called a candidate for the mayors of Novosibirsk from the LDPR. Does this mean that there will be competition between you? And in general, is there any decision on it?

- The proposal of the candidacy of Yevgeny Lebedev as a candidate for the mayor’s election is an offer from the State Duma deputy Dmitry Savelyev. But in the framework of the LDPR, Dmitry Ivanovich is the same party as many others. Decisions on nomination of candidates for the election of the governor of the region or mayor of the capital of the subject are adopted by the party leadership.

Taiga.info: Dmitry Savelyev is not the head of the regional department?

- He is smoking. But such decisions in our party are made by the Higher Council. We did not see the decisions, so I believe Evgeny Lebedev to consider Evgeny Lebedev as an official candidate for the mayors of Novosibirsk.

Taiga.info: Which of you to choose - will the Higher Council decide?

- I want and plan to offer the management to conduct primaries. I believe that the more candidates, the better. I know many worthy liberal democrats personally. And to carry out primaries - this would be the most ideal option, the most correct, with the involvement of not only one -partyists, but also supporters of the party. To choose a really worthy candidate. I will offer this idea to the Higher Council.

- Not once.

Taiga.info: Are you a rather fragile girl, is it not scary to go to such a job? The city is littered with snow, standing in strands, pipes are torn, a bunch of municipal workers who either do not want to work, or there are few of them, and we must somehow deal with all this farm. How do you imagine this?

- Of course, I see the state of the city at the moment. But, in spite of my age, nor at any other principles and qualities, I believe that the mayor is not the only king in the city. He has a whole team that should work competently and correctly. The trend that we see now that roads are cleaned, but the sidewalks are not cleaned, and as a result, roads are already helping drivers - this I think this is not a very correct and not very competent decision. Still, the city should be for all people and for pedestrians including. And not only for drivers.

I can talk about my program, since we touched this. Naturally, at the moment the program has not been finalized, since I recently found out about the initiative of party members. But when I found out, I began to work out the points in my head, some blocks that I will rely on if the Higher Council approves my candidacy. And I understood one thing - I want my program to be as well worked out. I will attract high -class specialists from various fields to make the program truly working. A large block of issues of this program will be devoted to ecology issues. At the moment, we see that the last green zones are cut down in Novosibirsk in order to build the next buildings for business centers, residential buildings.

I agree that the population growth requires new housing, jobs. But I met with representatives of environmental movements, with doctors of sciences from the architectural institute, and we agreed that it is possible and necessary to build, but this should be done so as not to hurt these green areas. Another large block of questions will be devoted to transport issues. We have such a trend that the city turns into a city for motorists. And not to the city for pedestrians.

I want to try to make a maximum good for people. To solve some problems of people who, in principle, are easily solved, but for some reason they are not resolved. Everything should work harmoniously. And the conductor who will establish the work should be competent and configured to the interests of citizens. I am ready to make every effort and is ready to work hard to really help people make the city cleaner, brighter and more interesting.
