Akhmatova Museum in St. Petersburg on his Facebook page published a heartbreaking statement

It immediately caused hundreds of responses, dozens of comments, 276 reposts. Such close public attention to the activities of the museum was not observed, probably, over the entire time of its existence on Facebook.

“Last night, a cat was again brought to the museum. The surveillance camera recorded how the girl left a carrier on a bench, with a tray and bowls. We consider this act to be dishonest and absolutely unacceptable.

Anna Akhmatova Museum is not a shelter for animals. Yes, three cats live in us, yes, we will not leave this cat and will try to attach it through the loss and other teams of zoo guards. But this is not our job! Perhaps someone is misleading the light tone of our publications, but each such case is an extra load on all employees who tears us off the organization of exhibitions and excursions, scientific and funding work, publishing books and other direct responsibilities. Not to mention how vile to leave the animal, accustomed to home warmth and comfort, in the cold on the street.

Now the cat is at the cash desk of the museum. We cannot let her out in the cold, but she also cannot remain in the museum - other cats beat her. If you want to shelter a cat, call the phone (the number is indicated). ”

And so on. Although, in fairness, I note that not everyone is so bloodthirsty. There are softer assessments of the situation, although there are few of them:

To everyone who scolds this girl here. She did not throw a cat in a bag in the water or at full speed from the car window. She brought her to a place where the cat would not die. Yes, she couldn’t come up better. And what, many options? And she could have lured. Girl, if you read this, your animal has not died and is not crippled, which means that you did well. Museum workers, I sympathize with you, you are the same victims of the situation when there are no normal shelters in the city, like this girl.

People make a stomach for various reasons. It is sincerely incomprehensible to me how to abandon the creature that trusts you, for certain death in the cold. But people do this. Not like someone under the cells in a crowded place, but simply tied to a tree. Throwing is always bad, but they throw it differently.

Before condemning, you need to find out the reasons for the act. Sometimes people are even worse than animals. But is it always and will everyone not pass by a person who crouched on a bench in the frost, with whom, perhaps, a misfortune happened? People to regret and love are much more difficult.

Such a dispute was woven, I would say, the worldview.

I am sorry for you, I am sorry for the non -ivide activities of the activities ”), due to the tactlessly used word “Homeland”, it was expected to cause a whole branch of comments that, for reasons of political correctness, I do not dare to bring.
