In the kindergartens of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka, parents were forbidden to dress children on New Year's matinees in costumes of foreign fairy-tale heroes. Superheroes, ninja turtles, spiderman and others fell under the ban. This was reported by the parents of Khim 24, since many do not agree with the prohibition introduced. The administration of the municipal kindergarten "Dolphinchik" reported that in this way they intend to instill in children "Russian folk traditions".
“The idea arose for our musical director and has been embodied for several years. Not only New Year's ones, but all the other matinees in our kindergarten are held in folk traditions. We regularly report this at meetings, and most of them relate to this with understanding,” the representative of the garden said.
According to the publication, such recommendations exist in most preschool institutions of the city. And the decision on which costumes are appropriate in matinees are made in the city education department. The head of the department, Grant Shaygorodsky, confirmed that the institution faces the task "when staging New Year's performances to be closer to the origins of our Russian culture."
Earlier in Magadan, the administration of one of the kindergartens stated that children are forbidden to come to the upcoming New Year's Utility in the costumes of the heroes of foreign cartoons. The announcement said that the girls should come in doll costumes, and the boys in suits from "domestic fairy tales and cartoons: Pinocchio, Pierrot, Chipollino, Harlequino, Dunno, heroes, musketeers." The administration said that if parents have already bought an inappropriate costume, then the child can go to another event in it.
