“One of the most important tasks remains countering extremism. Security agencies should, as before, quickly respond to any attacks on the foundations of the constitutional order, provocations of nationalists, or attempts to incite religious hatred. It is extremely important to protect young people from the criminal influence of extremists,” Putin said at an event dedicated to Security Officer Day.
In addition, he called the special services the most important support of Russia. “Domestic special services, and this has always been the case, are the most important support of our state. You carry out many serious tasks, and the key one is the fight against international terrorism,” TASS quotes the president.
