Starting next year, fares for public transport in Moscow will change.

The cost of one trip on the Troika card on public transport in Moscow will increase from 36 to 38 rubles. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport.

“The cost of a single ticket for 60 trips will be 1.9 thousand rubles instead of 1,765 rubles. The validity of the ticket from the date of purchase will be 45 days, as most passengers manage to use the ticket faster. A trip at the 90-minute fare on the Troika card will cost 59 rubles, which is 3 rubles more than in 2018,” the press service said.

In addition, the cost of unlimited tickets will change: "Single" for 30 days will cost 2170 rubles instead of 2075, for 90 days - 5430 rubles instead of 5190. The price of preferential tickets for students will also rise in price: from 380 to 395 rubles, and for ground transport 260 rubles instead of 250 rubles.

The press service of the department clarified that the issue of the need to increase tariffs was raised by the largest carriers.
