Kremlin explained the claims to BBC

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that various Russian departments had questions to BBC Corporation in connection with the coverage of the events related to the Russian Federation, Interfax reports.

Earlier, Roskomnadzor announced the start of checking the BBC World News channel, as well as the channel resources on the Internet.

Peskov noted: "Different departments in Moscow have repeatedly had questions regarding specific materials, specific episodes for the coverage of events related to the Russian Federation." Specifying, the Kremlin spokesman clarified that this concerns the lighting of "what is happening in Syria and within the Russian Federation."

According to Peskov, "we can talk about some kind of taste."

At the same time, Peskov did not confirm that the audit is related to the claims of the British regulator to the RT channel: “We have not seen this information.
