
The Corruption Commission of the Irkutsk Region accused the mayor of Angarsk of violating anti -corruption legislation. This was reported in the press service of the regional government.
At a meeting of the coordination commission on counteracting corruption in the region under the chairmanship of the Irkutsk governor Sergei Levchenko, and with the participation of representatives of the Investigative Committee and Prosecutor's Office of the region, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FAS, it was announced that the mayor of Angarsk Sergey Petrova provided false and incomplete information about his income, and also allowed a conflict of interest, concluding municipal agreements from the company of the son.

The audit also confirmed that the Angarsk administration concluded a series of municipal contracts with companies, in fact controlled by the mayor - the trusting manager of these companies is the son of Sergei Petrov.
The commission during an open vote confirmed the violation by the mayor of Angarsk of federal legislation on countering corruption.
"Provide the application and materials of verification of violations committed by Sergei Petrov when fulfilling the requirements of agreements on the integrated development of territories concluded between the Angarsk administration and CJSC Stroykompleks, to the prosecutor's office of the region to take measures of prosecutor’s response," said the first deputy prosecutor of the Irkutsk Region, the state council of justice of the 3rd class Alexander Voroninor.
