In the village of Starokorsunskaya, the police detained Alexei Nikitin, a protester against the increase in fares. Journalist Alexander Saveliev, citing activist Vitaly Molodanov, reports this on his Telegram channel.
Nikitin is being taken to Krasnodar to the police department for the Karasun district. The activist is charged with violating the rules for holding a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
A few days ago, Nikitin was attacked during a meeting of residents with the head of the Karasun district. One man hit the activist with his fist, and the second pushed him to the seats of the auditorium. The police did not arrest the attackers.
The son of Alexei Nikitin told Savelyev that today his father was going to go to the police department to write a statement about the attackers.
UPD 19:49 Nikitin told Savelyev that they refused to acquaint him with the materials of the administrative case.
UPD 20:32 A protocol has already been drawn up against Nikitin under part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. In addition, he is charged with holding an event without filing a notification (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The activist is left at the police station overnight, tomorrow the court is to consider his case.
