The system of filtering search engines on the registry of Roskomnadzor, for non -compliance with which Google was fined, works quite selectively.
Yandex stopped showing in the search results the official website of the Telegram - Telegram.org messenger, although it appears the first to issue Google when requesting Telegram. The Russian search engine does not show this page at all.
“Apparently, the link is added to the register of Roskomnadzor. Synchronization with the register occurs automatically. Yandex removes links as new data is received, ”the press service of the Russian company said . It also became known that Yandex is blocking the Telegram website only for Russian users.
The site of the messenger fell under the blocking in April of the current year by a decision of the Tagansky district court of the city of Moscow, which satisfied the requirement of Roskomnadzor to block Telegram in the Russian Federation. The reason was the FSB claim to the messenger who refused to transfer the keys to decryption of user messages to the special services. Roskomnadzor was also introduced by Webraam.org, Web.telegram.org and T.me used by the messenger, in the register of prohibited sites.
If Yandex filters sites on the register of prohibited, then the company's statement that the Telegram website has appeared in the register is only now false: the messenger web portal was included in the unloading of Roskomnadzor on April 16, 2018, almost immediately after the decision to block all its services:
Why the main Russian search engine decided to remove a link to the Telegram website from issuing only now - leaves a lot of questions. The connection to the unloading of the RKN is clearly not on the machine or RKN gives Yandex some special unloading, and not as communication operators.
Recall that earlier Roskomnadzor presented his complaints about Google that she did not connect to the state information system containing a list of prohibited Internet resources (FGIS) at the end of October of this year. In the first half of December, RKN fined an American company for half a million rubles for this.
